  1. Sometimes I covet black culture because it seems so open and community-oriented. I don't get that same sense of joy among the Asian Americans. Too much jealousy and competition. It would be nice for this generation to change all that.

  2. that's a nice thought. open and community-oriented is reflective of the black culture you've been exposed to then.

    instead of establishing whether that's true or whether what you say about asian americans is true (because it's almost always partially so), i say the best thing for you and i, as asian americans of this generation, to do is find like-minded asian-americans and represent the noble qualities.
